I have never owned a Panasonic microwave before, but I am very pleased that I purchased this one. I have a small mechanic shop that I am in for many hours every day, and this microwave does wonders when I need to heat something up for lunch. Most of the time it’s just me in the shop at lunch time, and I need to be able to keep working and still get a hot lunch in. This microwave has made it possible for me to do just that every day.
Because I have a microwave in the shop, it takes a toll on the appliance. That’s just the way it is in a small mechanic shop and I am always looking for things that will be able to stand up to the abuse that will eventually come its way. My last microwave lasted a couple of years before it gave up the good fight and moved on to the dump. I am hoping that this one will last at least that long, if not longer, though. I do get tired of constantly buying new microwaves every year or so, and I would love for this one to last for years.
I purchased this microwave to replace one that recently decided to leave the physical plane of existence by way of the interior wall cracking. This Panasonic is a bit larger than the microwave that died, which means that I can put larger plates in it. Of course, now I will have to go purchase larger plates to utilize this phenomenon in microwaving genius. The overall feeling I get from this technological advancement in convenience is one of relief and happiness. I am relieved that it doesn’t take up too much counter space and I am happy that it actually works like it’s supposed to.
Although I have only had this microwave briefly, I can say that I am not upset with my decision to purchase it. I have had family members and friends tell me to pass the Panasonic brand by when it comes to microwaves, but I thought this one would do well enough for me and what I would need it for. I am not even close to being any kind of cook, but I am pretty good at heating things up in microwaves and can tell that this one will work fine for me and my popcorn.
We purchased this microwave a few months ago and have been extremely satisfied with it so far. It does well for what we use it for, and that isn’t very much at this point in time. We love the larger size that this Panasonic has to offer and the 1250 watts reheats our food and drinks perfectly. While I have had some issues with the door button sticking, it isn’t too much to worry about for the most part. While most people would be upset about the minor issues that we have had, for us, it’s just another microwave with character that we get use in our home.

I absolutely adore this microwave and I have had it for a very long time. It seems like it has been sitting on my kitchen counter ever since we purchased this house; much like a well trusted family friend. We have never had any issues with anything other than the occasional door sticking when you go to open it. But then you get that with every microwave these days, so it’s not really a big deal. The 1250 watts of power make heating and cooking food and liquids in this microwave a dream come true. Now, you don’t have to wait hours to defrost anything, either.
I love the fact that the stainless steel design matches my kitchen décor and appliances, and it makes it extremely easy to keep clean. Even the interior of the microwave is easier to clean than the old microwave we just gave up on. There are few things in life that upset me more than putting out hard earned money and getting something that never seems to work right. I have had nothing but issues with this microwave since the day I pulled it out of the box. The first thing that went out was the door latch. While that may not be too much of a hassle for most people, it is rather difficult for me with my disability to manipulate a door that doesn’t open right. Now, I could look past that but the next thing that went out was the timer.
Once the timer stopped working, the microwave became a virtual paperweight as there was no way of telling if your food was still cooking or not. I had it checked out by a repair place and they were saying it had to do with inferior parts on the inside of the microwave, and it would cost me more to fix it than what I paid for it in the beginning. Now, I can see that most everyone else loves this microwave, and there is a good chance that I was lucky enough to get a lemon, but it’s still broken.

I have recently purchased a new home, and needed a decent microwave since I left the old one with my ex roommate.
