Replacing our over the range microwaves due to them melting all the time was starting to get pricey, so we decided to get one for our kitchen counter. This Sharp microwave is relatively small so it fits in great. In our 38 years of marriage, we’ve bought 6 microwaves. We use it mostly to heat water or reheat food items. Sometimes we might reheat coffee. It performs all of these things perfectly.
We don’t use the microwave to cook meals, so if you’re looking for a basic microwave, you should consider this one. It’s easy to clean and it doesn’t scratch easily. Also, the controls are extremely easy to work. All it takes is a couple of touches and you can cook or reheat anything. This is definitely worth the price for everything you get. We’re completely happy with our choice and we think anyone that buys this one will be, too.

The microwave that we got when we bought our current house about 15 years ago finally went out and we started looking around to replace it. I was a little panicky because I knew my old microwave like an old friend. Nothing was left to guesswork because I just KNEW everything about it. But when I found this little Sharp microwave, I started to feel a lot more confident.
I’ve had it for a little over a month and it’s exactly what we need. My only complaint, and it’s a small one, is that all fingerprints show on the stainless steel. This is particularly true on the button that opens the door. However, it’s got all the features of my old one and more. It’s a bit smaller and not as powerful as the old one, but it works great. This microwave is used only for light cooking or reheating and it’s perfect for that.
